• Determine Capacity: Forklifts = 90% gross weight; pallet trucks = 67%
  (Example: forklift 5,500 lbs + heaviest load 10,000 lbs → 15,500 × 0.9 = 13,950 lbs required)

• Select Width: Add 12" to equipment width

• Determine Height: Measure dock-to-truck vertical distance
